Taylor Jewell is the Executive Director for the Lexington Chamber Orchestra and the Chamber Music Festival of Lexington.
Calling the hills of eastern Kentucky home, Taylor is a Pinnacle Scholar honored musician for her achievements in music throughout the region and is the former principal flute for the Eastern Kentucky University Symphony Orchestra. She also maintains private teaching positions at numerous public schools in the Bluegrass and teaches lessons upon request.
In addition to being an accomplished musician, Taylor is also a multi award-winning marketer. She received the “Eastern Kentucky Entrepreneurship Award” for her presentation on accessibility in the performing arts, the “Best Marketing Plan Award” and “Most Valuable Marketer” for her consulting projects with Vintage 18 Eatery & Bar and The American Chestnut Foundation, and was named an “Outstanding Co-Op Intern of the Year” at Eastern Kentucky University for her work.
Taylor holds bachelor’s degrees in Flute Performance and Music Industry from the Eastern Kentucky University School of Music. She is currently pursuing her post-graduate specialization in marketing from The Kellogg School of Management and The Medill School of Journalism, Media, and Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University.
Taylor is based in Lexington, Kentucky.
