Yichi Chiang

Violinist Yichi Chiang is an experienced teacher, performer and long-term orchestral player. She earned her Master degree and performance diploma in violin performance from the Boston Conservatory (in the studio of Professor Lynn Chang) and is currently pursuing her DMA at Kentucky University, under Professor Daniel Mason.
In Boston she has played with such orchestras as the New England Philharmonic, Cape Ann Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of Indian Hill. She also took part to several festivals: National Orchestra Institute, Texas Music Festival and International Lyric Academy (Italy) among others, playing under such conductors as Leonard Slatkin and Stefano Vignati, and great artists as Joseph Silverstein and Glenn Dicterow. As a teacher, she has a long-term teaching experience both
with beginners and advanced students and she has been on the Faculty of the Taichung Youth Symphony Orchestra summer festival in Taiwan.
